During the warm summer days, take a trip to the Parc Floral de Paris and discover the Jardin des Papillons before it goes back into hibernation. This « garden » inside a real greenhouse – which since May offers visitors an additional section –recreates the ideal conditions for butterflies from Ile-de-France with a wealth of plants and flowers.

Let yourself be carried away by the silent balletic fluttering of forty or so species of butterfly with their shimmering colours while watching the hatching, the opening and the metamorphoses of these insects.

A beautiful poetic moment to share with your children.

Times:

From 15 May to 30 September: weekdays 1.30pm – 5.30pm, weekends 1.30pm – 6.30pm.

From 1 to 15 October: 1.30pm – 5.30pm weekdays and weekends.

Closed on public holidays.

Park-garden-walk

Extending over 28 hectares, the park is situated at the heart of the 'bois de Vincennes' [Vincennes forest]. It is made up of 4 very distinct landscaped areas. As well as being a very pleasant place to walk, it is also a venue for meetings and cultural exchange (exhibition room, horticultural events...). The park also has play areas for children and free concerts during the Summer.

9.30am-5pm to 8pm according to season. Library-interactive-nature : Wednesday 9.30am-midday /1.30pm-4.45pm ; Saturday 1.30pm-4.45pm.
