The Château de Rambouillet was built in the XIVth century. It was subjected to many later modifications. It has been an official residence for Presidents of the French Republic since 1886.
In the park you can visit the Queen's Dairy and the "Chaumière des Coquillages" (Cottage of the Shelves).
