The recently opened Musée du quai Branly, which is dedicated to the arts of Oceania, Asia, Africa and the Americas, takes the public on a wonderful voyage of discovery into the heart of the world’s civilisations... It is the perfect place to get your children acquainted with primitive art. The museum’s programme of activities created especially for budding ethnologists makes for an excellent family outing. Activities include guided tours with a storyteller (age 5+), audio tours (age 6+) and workshops for children aged 6-9, 7-10 and 9-12 with themes such as animal life, making toys from recycled materials, an introduction to ethnology and so on. What’s more, the museum’s Claude Levi-Strauss theatre stages musicals, plays and dance shows from faraway countries for all the family to enjoy!
