The Parc de la Villette is one of the Parisian pioneers of « cinema under the stars ». For the last eighteen years, each summer the Prairie du Triangle has been transformed into a huge open-air cinema, complete with a large screen. This year, the « Cinéma en plein air », sponsored by the actress Hafsia Herzi, has adopted the theme « Ava, Rita, Gina… les étoiles ne meurent jamais » (movie stars never die). Spectators can pick their spot on the grass or hire a deckchair with a blanket.

They will be delighted to discover or view again a selection of 36 films in their original version featuring the biggest cinema stars. Some works are not suitable for children.

The cycle of films, scheduled to run for over a month, will provide excitement, laughter, thrills and tears.

This new edition will also include the exhibition « Les yeux dans les étoiles » (stars in their eyes) with a series of photographs of stars from the archives of the magazine Paris Match.
