The « Mer de Sable » is a theme park opened in 1963 in the heart of Ermenonville Forest on a huge stretch of sand. After extensive renovation works, it reopened to the public in 2007. With three interactive worlds - « Les Portes du Désert », « Aventures dans la Jungle » and « Au Temps des Pionniers » - there is a whole host of attractions: over twenty rides including the « Train du Colorado », « Cheyenne River », and the « Oasis » which made the « Mer de Sable » such a success, as well as a string of shows and activities.
In 2008, discover two new attractions at the « Mer de Sable »: « Les Aventuriers de la Jungle » and « La Ruée vers l’Or ».
All of which spells adventure with a capital A and promises thrills and excitement galore!
